I'm on the camp that think games are about gameplay front and center, and a game with bad gameplay will be a bad game even with a good story (I hink this is what Veknoid meant). What other measure is there really when you're trying to make an objective argument. With something like story and writing, I can understand people who don't care for narrative heavy games. Doesn't change the fact that there is a growing group of people who like that type of focus.
