Nobody was "hopping" these GT games flop. But we expected decline and there has been. Will GT7 change that? Who knows.
No single racing series outside of Mario Kart achieves GT numbers. But due to frequent releases the Forza series has done over 6 million physical and probably a few million more digital. So Forza has managed to do quite well with a different strategy than GT.
