You should see last year's numbers. By this time last yeat the PS4 also had a lead of around 500k, the difference for the year of 2016 alone is that the PS4 has conceded 250k+ of its lead to MS in the last 4 months alone and it's still 400k clear. |
It's only 211k as numberss pointed out, right column adds up to 2210k not 2012k unless your numbers are wrong. (I sense a typo)
Pretty close battle. I don't know if the pro will deliver, between DF highlighting frame rate problems and nearly invisible upgrades and the HDR compatibility debacle, this whole mid gen upgrade might end in a big meh. November probably, December is going to be interesting. I would not be too surprised if XBox One manages to catch ps4 sales this year, MS has far better marketing and bundle deals.
At least here in Canada I did not get the impression that the pro is selling a lot. It has been regularly available since day 1. Thanks to our dollar it's also $100 more than ps4 was at launch, $120 more than a regular 500gb ps4 with game or 1tb gears of war 4 xbox one s bundle.
Kinda odd that the XBox One S is advertised with 4K at Bestbuy, ps4 pro is not. There are 8 XBox One S bundles against 1 boring plain ps4 pro with zero reviews and more expensive than even the 2tb Gears of War 4 special edition. Only 2 ps4 slim bundles, NHL17 or Uncharted 4. Sony just doesn't care.
