I still doubt pokemon stars is anything more than a spin-off aswell. So... yeah. Looks bad to me. Not interested at all.

Well, it still depends on how good that Mario RPG is(not holding my breath for it), and tgere is the rumored Retro Ip comming.On top of the third parties and stuff.Personally I think its decent at least, but I agree that is subjective.
