I believe the primary system selling titles on PS4/XBO are shooters, sports, action games, hence why they make up the bulk of the list i made earlier. I have said at least 100x times on these forums that games were not Wii U's issue and that i believe it to be a combination of poor marketing/advertising, high price & big releases being spread out too far. Those are all things i have literally said in our debate and they are things you just said 2 posts ago. Like i said, you do not know what you are even arguing about. |
I never even talked about indies. All my listed games on the prev. post were retail games. Lets see how many system sellers released on ps4/xbox one yet and if they had droughts.

You see, both system has similar droughts then the wii u. Games that sold 1-2 Mio @40 Mio installed HW base definitly ARE droughts for the mass market. Very similar to my listed wii u games that sold 200-500k @13 Mio installed hw base.
And you still dont got the point. The Nintendo games were good, good meta scores and big franchises. More minor franchises between releases wouldnt move consoles. But they arnt good enough to compete with the competition in terms of popularity and marketing. Mass market is no longer interested in getting Mario kart over COD, Assassins Creed, GTA and Witcher. And those games wont be on the switch as well.
