Even some fans of the show noticed that this new series has a lot more personality and expression.
The video I previously posted here showed that there a lot more things that characters can do now through this type of animation.
Rica Matsumoto, the Masako Nozuma of Pokemon, is as energetic as ever voicing Ash and singing the new OP.
In a way, I kinda compare this change to that of Digimon Adventure to Adventure Tri.
