I would say that most who supported Trump tried to look past his divisive qualities and looked at the combo of being conservative on business while being an outsider who would fix government.
I don't think arguing that his supporters are just as immoral as he is will get you far. It's just not true. How could it be? What I think is an easier argument to make is that it is immoral to value his business and anti-establishment values over his character.
But to imply they have the same character as him? No proof of it.
