As for the DNC, they have to do what's best for the people now and take on issues that affecting the lower/middle class or they will not win. Hillary's plan to brown america failed, so they have no choice but to fight for the lower and middle class votes. One of the ways to fight for their votes is to oppose Immigration. (the wages will go up naturally because you decrease supply -> increasing demand)

This is called capitalism by the way, no one wants to admit that inconvienant little truth. Capitalism by its nature always seeks to maximize profit and it always will, and the best way to maximize profit is to have slave labour (basically).

We can safely say that Trump went against the republicans with his deportation/wall buidling/banning immigrants plans. He's not really a republican and I am pretty sure the party didn't agree with him until recently when they felt like he could win. How it goes from here is a mystery.
And yes, you are right. It is the new form of slavery and the rich are the main people to benefit from it, and ofc, the new slaves because they wouldn't have got these "low" wages in their home countries. Plus, their kids get to be Americans and get free school etc
