Has Sony kept their promise of PS3 10 years lifespan?

This guy was the head of the Xbox division in 07. I remember reading an article with him saying they would follow Sony. Every move Microsoft has ever made has been a response to Sony.  The Xbox 360 RROD, Fixing the clock speed of the Xbox One late  in the game, The investment in the Kinect after seeing sony create the eyetoy, Creating a project scorpio when there was no necessity for Microsoft to do it and copying Sony's ten year plan (well...eleven for Microsoft now...but they made this plan a year after Sony launched and revealed they would support the PS3 for ten years). I could go on and on. Its all they really do if you actually pay attention.

As I said..Microsoft is a shadow of their greatest competitors.

You're telling me no, but truly saying nothing that argues against my specific points. Prove me wrong. The Xbox 360s lifespan has outlasted the original Xboxes by leaps and bounds, but being unnaturally out past ten years is nothing new to Sony. They've been doing that since the start. Again, if you actually have an argument...please come to me with one.
