What's the highest resolution the Nintendo Switch will play in?

Interesting, because I heard the deluxe model will come with a 100 TB SSD, the right joy-con will double as a 4K projector, it will have a telepathic sensor (for both control and sending lag free images directly to your brain), support quick charging in a microwave, play PS4 and XBox One games at higher resolutions, come bundled with the new Metroid and also be waterproof.

However it will only play Nintendo games at 720p.

On a more serious note, it's gon be 720p in handheld mode, 1080p in docked mode.
