Like psvr they decided to produce a certain number months back. There's only so many they could ship to Japan. but like the psvr the thing is completely sold out.
So while psvr and pro numbers aren't huge, albeit decent, there's the solace that there's still quite the demand. Sony will fill this in good time and get the sales later instead. in the case of Japan, they'll likely have plenty of stock for December for the Christmas period.
