It doesnt say it didnt run well. It said, it didnt run perfectly. Big difference.

Most games are polished the last months before release, that's what they do the time running up towards release.

Semantics. The difference isn't big .

The thing is that if Mario wasn't running as they wanted in September, they're still a long way to go.
