OMG Youtube video likes!? I guess then i have to use my secret sources from Wikipedia to counter that. Well as an outsider for me its exactly like Wii U. Even Wii U promised great third party support, innovative way to play with tablet gimik and stuff, great exclusives at the time of launch Batman, Zombie U, Bayonetta2 , Dragon quest x, call of duty, need 4 speed, Ninja gaiden 3, new super mario bros, Pikmin 3, Resident Evil Revelation, Wonderful 101, Assassins Creed 3 and black flag. kid Icarus etc..

Speaking Zelda which will also be available on Wii U comparatively with similar graphcial fidelity. Even Wii U had Zelda tech demo Figthing with giant enemy crab",  for a while it led ppl fantasize that there was a real game and people didnt shutup about it Also remember Wii U was the follow up of Wii, so nintendo returning to hardcore nintendo fanbase had bigger of a hype than this.

  

I honestly dont see the difference in the hype, and for me personally Wii U had a everything going for it.

Just new 3D Zelda is much stronger than anything Wii U had in whole 1st year, and you will have new 3D Mario in 1st year too and some other big hitters, alongside bassil best and most popular remasters of Wii U games. Switch will have very strong launch and 1st year lineup, incompatible stronger than Wii Us, not to mention Wii U droughts with few months between games.

Maybe you can't see difference between Wii U and Switch hype, but reaction on Switch trailer are far more positive and video is far more popular than Wii U video.
