Just have on mind that PS4Slim/XB1s have AMD tech from 2012, while Switch has Nvidia tech most likely from 2016, so comparing consumptions of different tech from different period doesn't make too much sense. Also Switch can easily consume 20W or more in docked mode. So yes, we can definatly say that Switch will have advantage in terms of efficiency and power consumption compared to real power of hardware.

Miyamotoo, we've already discussed the power consumptionthing in another thread, so I'm not going there again. I know it's a lost battle and I have better ways to lose my time.

But what you seem to forget is that the Switch also has to run the game in portable mode, and in that mode it won't be able to use those 20W (far from it), but it will also have to power the screen, leaving even less than half those 20W for games. If you take into consideration that games must run in both modes and that no, lowering the resolution won't magically solve the problem, you'll be better if you start to lower your expectations before you get disappointed.

Maybe we talk about it before, but fact is that you can't really compare power consumption of AMD tech from 2012 and Nvidia tech most likely form 2016.

Of Course, it's expected that games will be run in much lower clocks in handheld mode while in docked mode will be running at full or higher clocks. And just 720p in portable mode, compared to 1080p in docked mode make big difference in power.
