I really hope this partnership lasts that much. 'Cause if it does it means (or confirms) that Nintendo's plan IS to develop their future systems in a way that the transition from one to the other won't make you lose anything (like in the mobile market).
And i think that's essential to Nintendo. For instance, how many have said that Nintendo can't attract Sony or MS' fans because they don't feel like leaving their stuff (trophies, games, etc.) behind? This is the best way that Nintendo can achieve that.
Also, it pretty much garantees BC for a LOT of time!
I like how he talks about Switch, too.
Yes, is known for his great PR skills, but i think there's something about Switch that makes him say that.
Personally, i still believe we will see some form of stream capability that will allow to play not just PC games on Switch, but maybe, also Android and iOS games on the TV (the other way around). Who knows?
