Or they will do mid gen upgrades like Sony and MS are starting. I think it is a foul practice but if they have proper 3rd party support from the west, they might have to. If not then it is whatever they want to do. If they truly merge both console and handheld divisions, they can be successful doing their own thing. Not as successful, but profitable non the less.

Five year cycle is dead and cant survive in modern time, we will have mid gen upgrades that will play same games, something similar like PS4 and PS4 Pro.

There's no evidence for this.  It's just being assumed.  Honestly, the Pro and Scorpio are likely the result of Sony and MS rushing the original PS4 and Xbone to market.  We may see it again next gen or we may never see it again.
