In all honesty not sure this bodes well for ps4 slim. Yes indeed the pro (which is a premium product at a higher price) will have a huge spike on launch going into Christmas, but realistically over the longer term the budget slim models will definitely be the higher selling versions of both the ps4 and xbox one (scorpio next year) consoles. Unless Sony reduces the price to $200, this could be a concern for Sony. Remember, 12 months ago and up until recently no one would have dared dreamed of an xbox one slim outselling a ps4 slim on an equal price footing in the U.S and U.K (lesser extent Australia).. I think Sony dropped the ball a little on the relatively unchanged slim form factor without any real enhancements such as 4k functionality.
