Do you want to know why people voted for Trump? Because of the kind of replies we have in this thread. People think that those who voted for Trump are uneducated, stupid, racist, misogynist, sexist and pretty much every name in the book. They spend their time calling Trump voters names, putting them down, and shaming them. These people consider themselves intelligent and above Trump voters. Their only reply ever is to shut those people up, to silence them out of fear of being proven wrong. They do not tolerate any dissenting voice and are quick to insult. People like this are the problem, along with the "elite" who believe themselves to be the only ones who possess the truth and spend their time giving people lessons and feeling superior to others.

The reasons people voted Trump are because all the other politiciens in this campaign were part of this elite. No one else wanted to hear their problems. No one else wanted to fight political correctness, social justice, the propaganda from feminism (like the myth of the wage gap) or from groups like Black Lives Matter. This elite would have white people feel ashamed of themselves for their "privilige" (e.g. just the fact they are white). They would have men give everything to women and put women on pedestals because women are "oppressed" by the "patriarchy".

No, I would say that those voting Trump are not the uneducated ones. The uneducated ones are the ones that blindly follow political correctness, that blindly accept opinions as fact ("The minorities are oppressed!", "Blacks are victim of police brutality!", "The patriachy is keeping women down!") without ever doing any research to determine the validity of these arguments, or to listen to the opposing view point. The uneducated ones, the ones without manners or open-mindedness, are the ones who spend their time insulting those who dare challenge them.

Trump won because people finally had the courage to stand up against all of that, because people finally educated themselves and saw the danger of staying on the current path. Trump won because people had enough of being silenced and shamed. Trump won because people finally dared challenge the totalitarian view point of the elite.

For that, I applaud them.
