Of Course that 16GB inst limit, thats most likly standard size, even Nintendo on Wii U had games that are larger than 16GB but majority of their Wii U games were below 8GB.

(N64) had cartridges in range 32MB–512MB, DS in range of 8MB-512MB i 3DS in range of 128MB-8GB (2GB is standard size for 3DS).
