The combined effect of both Nintendo and MS libraries and full third party support would in general create an overall more appealling singular platform as a whole anyway which would siphon off some Playstation users too. Super Mario + Halo + Zelda + Minecraft x Nintendo + Gears + Smash Brothers + Mario Kart + Forza + Metroid and all third party multiplats is a platform even Sony would have some problems matching up with, they'd have Uncharted + uh ... Gran Turismo + the same multiplatform games. 

So now Nintendo has become a third party publisher for Microsoft? How is Switch supposed to sell 50-60m units when Nintendo is going to be busy putting their best games on Xbox?

ignore Soundwave, he's been spouting this nonsense of Nintendo being BOTH a hardware maker and lending their IPs to Sony/Microsoft for ages with some sort of delusion that it in any shape would help Nintendo in the long term
