He can now enjoy playing the 30 classic gems the NES Mini has to offer. Good day, look what showed up today @Nintendo. Very nice. pic.twitter.com/TYNnauGj9t https://gamerelay.wordpress.com/2016/11/08/head-of-xbox-gets-an-nes-mini/ I actually like how companies don't realy consider each other as "threats" or don't see the gaming market as a console war. I think we should all take a few notes from the big companies and not get too serious about the "console war". But it looks like Phil Spencer is really excited to play the games he probably played as a child. That or he's going to use it just as a decoration lol. Are any of you picking up a NES Mini? |
Man I'm jealous lol, I think it's more an issue of it being entirely possible to be competitive without making it ugly.
I really want one of those; I have the original here but it'd be way easier to pack and more space efficient when I visit family or go elsewhere, and it has many of my favorite games including multiplayer ones. The only issue I have is that it's so small and the controller wires so short while hdmi cords are generally very rigid that I can't help but think the console itself might be floating awkwardly in the air at times. I already have 3rd party controller wire extensions, though, so hopefully that helps.
I'm anxiously awaiting it being available for preorder, but I already see there's a ton of preorders on eBay for silly prices and worry this will wind up being another majoras mask new 3ds xl situation. I saw a whole shelf of sega's genesis version in cvs and hope Nintendo releases enough that this will be similarly obtainable.
