COD selling worse means less money rolling around in the industry, and that is bad.

Finally somebody gets it. Having behemots like CoD is actually good for the health of the industry. Same is true for GTA, FIFA or Warcraft. Just becaue there is a vocal minority who doesnt like them, it doesnt mean that they are bad games, by any means.

I think that the problem(the reason why those franchises are hated) are the annual releases. I think that if those games don't had annual releases people would not hate so much.

 

By the logic of some people who says that Cod is being replaced or dying, Battlefield 1 should have launched with a record release, but it sold  over 2/3 of what infinite sold which is 1/2 of what Black ops 3 sold which is  over 1/3 of what the best Cod did.  People are simply not buying other games.
