I don't believe comparing the PSP to only the DS is a fair comparison, but you are telling me it's the only comparison. You want to divide handhelds as if the same companies don't develop games for both. If Square decides to make a game they aren't always deciding PSP or DS, they may decide PSP, Wii, PS2, or DS. All offer advantages. There are not many games that go both on the DS and PSP, both systems get unique games. |
I must say a very intressting post, because when the Wii fans started to compare the Wii with the DS the High Definition crowd started to scream that it was two different market. I can't remeber that you spoked up that the market was the same then, have you changed you mind?
Other than that the Lucas is as always a little bit to much optimistic, just as those sony fans that is screaming that the Wii will die in 2009.
@muh...whatever
The DS has a good chance to hit 100 million and more. It is on its 3rd year now, and have a good chanse to reach somewhere between 50-60 million sold consols this year. If it can hit 6 years of life time as Nintendos main handheld and then another year as the second a total of 120 millions shouldn't be impossible. So Nintendo can produce products that can reach 100 million +. Of course if the Wii should hit the same level of succes is depending on demand from the crowd.

Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!
