Nintendo is screwing those who bought a Wii U

Pretty much. When I bought my Wii U back in late 2013 one of the big reasons why I got it was because it was in anticipation of Zelda Wii U... and I'm not mad about that. If anything, it was my fault for getting the console early for a game that hadn't even been shown yet.

The reason why I'm not mad, though, is because the console gave me plenty of worthwhile experiences, including a game that quite literally changed my life.

I typically dont buy consoles at launch and wait until it has at least a few games i really want.

I bought Wii U in March or April 2014, at that point it had NSMBU, Pikmin 3, Wind Waker HD, 3D World, Tropical Freeze and Mario Kart was just around the corner. It had a handful of games i really wanted so at that point it was a worthwhile purchase and the droughts werent as big of a deal because i had enough games to keep my busy for a decent amount of time.
