Both games are extremely similar gameplay wise but uncharted puts you at a disadvantage since the AI is smarter in that game. Not only that they swarm you on the hardest difficulties. On Tomb Raider, I merced everyone like rambo without fail. It wasnt a challenge.. To me, Uncharted would make more sense as a movie and would have the characters and script that could more easily be put over to an audience. With that said, with Uncharted gone, I Tomb Raider makes a great supplement until Naughty Dog drops Last of Us 2. Writers and artists have been used by other studios and increased the quality of their studios post Sony. That says a lot. Crystal Dynamics learned a lot from them, but I dont believe they have the magic of what makes Naughty Dogs games so great. For instance, if Ellie grew up, I believe shed have a number of qualitiies as a female protagonist that lara just fails to even achieve as a character. I like the new Lara better than the old one, but I still have yet to figure her out as a character. Her motivations and true goals. With Nathan Drake we knew that from square one.
Its curious though....what is it about Tomb Raiders gameplay that grabs you more than uncharted.
