It's unfortunate but not unexpected. And that's probably what most 3rd parties will do.

As for what this means for Nintendo, it will depend on what games they bring and the budget they give them.

In the long term, this could be an advantage for Nintendo because if there are enough of those games and are good enough, that could make the Switch the perfect secondary console.
