Going from 1.3m overtracked on May, to 1m undertracked on October! It could be overshipped for instance... I wouldn't be surprised, I have that suspicion since previous quarter after a research on some official numbers and comparisons!

Also, lets not forget the already big deals for PS4 slim, that thing isn't selling as much as it should ( see september NPD ) , mainly due to the anticipation of PS4 pro! Perhaps stores are staffed with ps4 slim stock, because as I aforesaid, that thing isn't selling as much as it should and that's why the great deals,  which is unexpected to see  them happening so soon, the system was just released...

Think about this.

Their trying to clear out stock of old PS4 models... they slowed production of those models long ago.

They want to fill the channels with PS4 slim + PS4 pro's.

That seems unlikely to me.

Which makes this even more impressive.... you'd expect sales to be down, if your soon doing a price cut + PS4 slim + PS4 pro.

Yet sales remained almost same levels as last years for this time periode.

Okay, I didn't  say that it's overshipped, I said that it could be!

Anyway, I could add tho this, that  I find  suspicious the fact that  the last sales update from sony was on late MAY... ( 40m ) Last year, they were more vocal about sales.

They could just want to publcize a sales figure when it hits the 50m milestone, though.
