The detachable controllers are easily the worst part of the Switch. Why would any want to copy this design? The left controller and right controller will feel completely differently in your hand. The button placements on the controllers is not the same on each. It's an assymmetical mess, that allows far less control than a standard controllers (about half the inputs of a 3DS), and most titles (especially from third parties) will not use this feature very well as a result.
