Since when are Fire Emblem: Awakening, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Pokémon X/Y, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Super Mario 3D World, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Pikmin 3 "obscure stuff half of us don't care about"? Those are 9 high profile games.
