Would you be ok with certain Switch games only playable while docked?

Seems strange that its purpose is playing the games at home and on the go, but not all of them. I'd be fine with it most of the time. At the end of the day though if most the games I wanted only played while docked, I'd be a little upset they didn't offer me a cheaper console without the screen.
