Reinvent the wheel??? I'm talking about reusing the same assets as why it would be so absolutely awful if it was marketed as an actual sequel.
Same Models, Textures, HUD, Tracks, Particle Effects, Shaders, Music? & SFX? That's what would make it an abomination and pure laziness. It could have the same mechanics as Mario Kart 8, they don't need to "reinvent the wheel" , they just actually have to make something new.
