did I miss something or aren't sd cards still pretty expensive vs blurays ? if they do use 128GB cards it's very possible that NS games will be 10-20$ more expensive then on PS/X1 like back in the N64 days. fuck that shit

SD card != game cart.

Games will come on a cart that likely varies in size based on what the develper needs. They are moderately more expensive than a bluray, but not so much so that it becomes prohibative or pushes up the price of the game. I think that is evidenced by 3DS now and that games are actually cheaper than home consoles.

SD cards are what is being used for storage expansion vs HDD.

well, 3ds games cost 1/10 of Hd games to make but are sold for 10$ cheaper, what happens when NS games that cost just as much as PS4/X1 games to produce are put on sd cards, I pretty sure it's gonna mean more expensive NS version vs the other two consoles. 3rd party games have already such a hard time selling on Nintendo platform it's gonna be even harder when the same game is sold for more on the NS vs the competition.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
