Nope, that's part of the gameplay: once per race one player can scream to an opponent "SHOW ME YOUR MOVES", then the opponent is forced to place his switch in the dock, dance for 10 seconds and then he's allowed to keep racing. Depending on how skilled the player proved to be at dancing a 15 members jury will decide an X ammount of speed boost to give to the player
