So, recently I got myself a sega saturn, along with mega man 8, astal, and some other stuff., and, it got me thinking... What happened to having 6 face buttons on the controllers? Why is that not a thing anymore?
It's perfect for fighting games. Probably would have turned MvC2 into a real six-button fighter if the Dreamcast didn't drop the C and Z buttons.
I like the controller so much, that I'm going to get some converters for it soon. It also has a good D pad.
But, Sony got into the market because of Nintendo, and Nintendo used diamond arrangements for the face buttons... I'm also aware of the newer controllers that move the R1 and R1 buttons to the front, but, I would love to see 6 face buttons, and 4 shoulder buttons standard on controllers.
