Lets be honest the main buyers for this thing are going to be 3DS owners. This isn't going to compete with a PS4/XB1, with the revelation of no HDD today, it likely cannot even run a lot of the big AAA home console games as some of those games are the size of an entire 128GB SD Card.

My "U" has a two terabyte hd.  so unless it has zero usb, the switch I'm sure could run at least that.  storage is a non issue.

Switch has USB but no external HDDs or storage are supported.

Has to be inside the main unit, which means SD Card storage only. Which means realistically you're going to be looking at 256GB max for the NS probably.

That's per LPVG which has gotten basically every leak about the NS correct, so there's little reason to doubt them.

The main practical reason for this is there would be big problems/probably even freezing of the console if you "Switch"-ed from home to portable mode while the system was accessing from an external HDD.
