Just like in the sensor bar the Wii had, its just beneath the surface of it.

Well I hope they are done with motion controls. Just make regular games. Mario Maker would work ok with a regular controller anyway.

Motion controls maybe. But to say they should kill of IR controls is silly. I refuse to play a FPS title with dual analog. And if you have seen the Switch controller, even if you like dual analog, that controller is not going to cut it. I really hope IR controls find their way into the console but if not, I will deal and just not get FPS (or almost and first person title) games that do come to the console.
