There is a rumor that the main unit, when docked, sends out two infrared lights(not sure if its infrared) on each side of the unit, in the part that sticks out of the dock.Supposidely at least

Oh..... yeah I guess it could be on the tablet itself.... that makes more sense.

That way you could use Motion Controlls also when its not docked.
