Remember again, this launched with the Wii U in Japan on day 1:

It's basically just a 3DS game running in HD.

Bet on the same for Switch with this Monster Hunter game, in fact I would say a similar bundle type is likely to happen also.

Capcom will score an easy extra 300-400k at least in sales by offering the game to Switch early adopters, no reason not to.

I though it was an upgraded version of MH3 for the Wii.  MH3U on 3DS were ports of the Wii version.  The base game (Monster Hunter Tri) was a Wii game first.  Did they port it from 3DS or the Wii?  No clue but I'm guessing Wii considering Wii is more powerful than the 3DS.  I'm sure your probably right since the Wii never got MH3U.  I was just thinking it would be easier to upgrade the assests of Wii than 3DS but considering Wii only had base game then you are more likely right.

I asked him in another thread if he had ever played Monster Hunter and with that post it seems increasingly so that he has not.

There is a small chance of this happening but I do not think Switch will be released mid month. I think the 3DS game, if it is coming to Switch, will come out a week or two before Switch is released but there is a good chance Switch sees a version upon its launch.
