Well, extra features are always great.

And say what you will, but 720 p for the portable mode is great. And when in home console mode it will be in 1080 or 900p, so Im good.

That ain't happening.

Not unless there is a SCD dock that costs more money with a far more powerful chip.

I'd expect a bit of a performance jump in docked mode, but 1080p is 2.25x more pixels than 720p, not a chance in hell the NS is magically overclocking itself 2.25x in performance just because it's running off a dock instead of a battery.

720p is what you're going to get on most games, and you're going to learn to like it if you want to like the NS.

Im not really sure what a SCD dock is, but I dont think it would be that expensive that would raise the price considerably.Plus Nintendo being a big company(and thus probably managing to get a better price) and they buying in large numbers(putting the cost down on each individual number) would make it to be a non issue, mostly anyway. In regards to power, the chip inside the main unit could simply be underclocked when in portable mode(due to heating and/or baterry life saving concerns), and it can run at full speed with constant power feed.Plus there is the fan, which could work more/start working when docked. And we dont know if its the Tegra X2 and the extent of the customization. Its not that far fetched.

Plues I think there were some rumors floating around about the home mode being on 1080.(I mean, the developer could make a bad optimization, and the game not run on 1080, but that would be the developer fault)

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
