Why the Wii still won't see so many multiplatforms games

Japan is nice and all but it's just not a market any western developer has been successfull at targetting...

Japanese developers are different from Japanese consumers.

Several different Japanese developers make games for the 360 although the 360 and its games sell terribly in Japan. It's easy to claim that userbase is a factor, but architecture is far more important. If you mean that the HD consoles are getting ports of the Wii version, than you've completely gone marbles. If you mean that the Wii will get build from the ground up while the 360 version will be ported from the PC and then to the PS3, then that's perfectly reasonable.
