It's totally different situation when you use footage of gameplay of another console of game that actually coming to your platform, and to show 3rd party game running on your system that actually doesn't coming at all to your system. It doesn't make sense at all.
Lol, using Skyrim on Switch to try to force Bethesda to make the games!? Bethesda would sued them and take millions of dollars from them.
Fact that almost none of partners from list did not confirmed or announced some specific game for Switch proves that isn't only about Bethesda and 2k, Nintendo even did not confirmed own games from Switch trailer (expect Zelda). Nintendo did not dropped ball, this trailer wasnt about games, focus was just on concept, games are just used to show that concept but offcourse they will use games that will come on platform, not just some random games, and they will talk about games another time, like Nintendo said:
"This video is all about explaining how the Nintendo Switch work. At a later date, before the March launch, we'll be talking about things like exact launch date, and of course, the games."
If you are platform holder and 3rd party say they are partner for your platform and they will suport your platform, you relly dont have nothing vague about that.
“We’re happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Nintendo on the video. While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of the Switch. We look forward to revealing specific games and details in the future.” - Bethesda representative
There is nothing vague about this statement.
