I think the OP is ridiculous and a proof of a goldfish memory of the author. Let us remind ourselves of other reveals of this generation:

-OP is so high on Sony's reveal - it was the first ever console reveal that... didn't even show the console! Oh yeah, Ninty falls short of that. Let's not look at that reveal through pink coloured glasses just because PS4 sells so well. The reveal was good, but nothing to be amazed by and had its own shortcomings. The best thing about the reveal was the "8GB DDR5 RAM" part. Awesome.

-MS - TV, TV, Kiect, TV, Kinect, TV, TV... No comment.

I'm gonna go as far as to say that this was the best reveal this gen. It was short and sweet, the presentation was great, they showed exactly what they are going for with the console (which wasn't easy when compared to PS4) and spared us the boring PR BS from Yoshida/Mattrick/Reggie. Complete win.

Are there still questions to be answered? Sure! It took 2 events lasting a couple hours each for both PS4 and Xbone to show everything! After the huge Sony event we didn't even know what PS4 looked like and if it even existed at that point in time!! Don't forget about it now!

This awesome teaser from N is a great build-up to the next Nintendo event, early 2017, where Ninty will show off the software. All the OP's complains about not being sure which games are coming and which aren't are so pointless. It's not like there are people in stores, holding boxes with NS in their hands and hesitating about the purchase, because they don't know what games are coming! Seriously guys, we are almost half a year removed from that point! Half a year!!! The wait is going to be so long that Nintendo would have to be moronic to do what you guys are b!tching and moaning for them to do - that is reveal everything at once. They are gonna tease, they are gonna build up the excitement and they'll try to keep the attention on their product for this whole time. For that you need a constant flow of information, you need people bulding hype by constantly speculating, constantly rediscovering the system. News get old unprecedently fast these days. To me NS is already old news and it's not even close to hitting the stores.

I for one hate when reveals come too early. We no longer live in the era when they had to reveal a console early, so that gaming magazines had time to write and publish articles about them and build up hype. Today a couple hours after the teaser was released, milions of people knew about the NS. It is old news already and the wait till March is going to be very long. They need something to draw the attention back.

So far Nintendo is doing everything right, their marketing is on point. They aren't talking games, cause they don't want to talk games at this point - and they don't need to. The complains about N not being adamantly clear whether MK, Splatoon and 3D Mario and ports/remakes/new games are pathetic. Who cares! You are gonna get a MK. You are gonna get Splatoon. You are gonna get a 3D Mario. Nothing more matters at this point. They explained what the console is about in a great way, they told us that the best GPU manufacturer in the world is responsible for the guts. Now that that's out of the way, they can make a huge event focusing on software, the release schedule, etc. without having to split the focus on explanations of the concept and main idea of the console. They have so much time to do it, that any complains at this point sound like little kids crying that they can't have EVERYTHING, cause they want EVERYTHING AT ONCE. They want ALL THE CANDY. ALL THE CANDY THAT'S IN STORE AND THEY WANT IT NOW!!!

FFS, grow up people.
