Which will also be only 2 1/2 months from launch? Poor marketing on their part. It may have peaked people interest, but this Xmas I see people forgetting all about it, which is Nintendo's fault, and buying even more tablets and smartphones for their mobile gaming. It also doesn't help that some of the games showed playing on the NS had slowdown. All of this is why they are going to have to nail the price, or this is going to be Wii U all over again. And that means a max price of $249, $199 for a real successful launch. Of course, I'm expecting this to launch at $299-$349, which will seal its fate. |
I generally agree; holding off until 2017 to show off the software is a mistake, and launching it at $300 USD or over would be suicide.
