Nope, there will always be a market for high quality at home experience. Now with VR, there is an even bigger need for higher powered home devices to power the experience. VR is going to become the premium way to experience games and entertainment, and it will be much bigger than retro gaming ever was.
Now for retro gaming (aka, controller + screen) that experience is going to become more and more mobile, because we have reached a point of diminishing returns. A device with 1TF of graphics power and 10TF can each offer the same experience with only only resolution and graphics quality differing. Otherwise the gameplay experience between the 1TF XBO and the 10TF GTX 1080 is identical.
Basically, VR will be the new premium at home experience and retro gaming will be the new mobile gaming, with smartphone gaming becoming the equivalent of Atari or 2D gaming over the last 2 decades.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
