It's not surprising game devs have kept specifics under wraps. If I can get cynical a bit here, the hype game is a matter of control of information, timing, and emotional manipulation. They want to be able to control when, where, and how they announce their games to maximize the impact of such. And they want that "WHAM" moment to happen after the Holidays, when the PS4 Pro and holiday sales have stopped and the Switch is literally all that people can focus on.
