Thats basically just PR. The Switch needs to not only be at least somewhat on par with the original current gen consoles but also sell well. If not then you can bet your ass they won't be sticking around.

Then what happened was :

They dropped out after a few or zero games made

and/or

They made shovelware

and/or

Their few release(s) sold terribly
