2: Keep in mind what comes out worldwide isn't the same as what comes out in Japan. Dragon Quest X I'd say is big budget. Also, I'm not saying AAA. I'd say The Crystal Bearers with its graphics and open world was pretty big budget, even if it is only a fraction of what Final Fantasy XIII cost. It also had 2 Tales Of games one of which never made it state side, a few Dragon Quest games beyond X that did make it world wide, ect. The japanese 3rd party support for Wii was really good actually.

9: We'll see. I'd say if there was a noticeable improvement to graphics it'd be a pretty big primary focus of it. The fact that nothing like that is mentioned means its fairly likely not there.

2. Well rather than big budget, I should have said mainline entries in popular Japanese game series. It was a far cry from PS3 when it came to those kind of Japanese titles. None of the new Resident Evil games. No Street Fighter. No Devil May Cry. No mainline Dragon Quest game (DQX is basically just DQ Online, same as FF11 and FF14.). No mainline Final Fantasy. No Kingdom Hearts. No Metal Gear. Etc.
Wii did ok in the Tales department, but both games you mentioned (Graces and Symphonia 2) also came out on PS3. Plus PS3 had more of them, like Vesperia, Xillia 1 & 2, Zestiria, and Berseria.

So we need to keep in mind how extroardinarily popular Wii was in Japan, and yet Japanese developers still didn't put their main titles on it for the most part.

9. Yeah, I don't think it'll be a big boost, if there is any. If there were, how would you be able to play some games on the go. But I'll wait and see what they announce. If anything it probably just upscales the resolution, or overclocks the CPU a bit.

2: That's what I'm getting at with NS though. I think it will have the Bravely Defaults, and the smaller titles like Tales Of. Point is those games will be able to have the budget of NS games, not Bravely Default.

Budgets gonna go up greatly from 240p to 720-1080p, and obviously better shaders, more polygons... You get the point.
