Yes the docking station is a Fan (cooling the tablet when docked) + chargeing of tablet, and cables to hook up to the tv.
I dont think there is any extra chips inside it, or a hard disk drive.
The NX probably has Air vents at the bottom of it too (where air enters) and then its blown out the top (where we know it has air vents)
