Super stardust Ultra VR

Playing the original game in VR is pretty neat. The planet feels like it's floating in front of you, 10ft diameter with the ship an oversized remote control toy. VR or rather 3D makes it easier to see what's coming from the other side. Head tracking works great and everything feels very smooth. Some of the enemies look a bit pixelated but overall the graphics are solid.

There is a new 3D VR arena where you sit inside the ship, cockpit simulated around you and have to take out waves of enemies in a small arena. This mode is very low res with a lot of aliasing going on and it's the first time I felt any signs of motion sickness. You strafe, rotate, move up and down due to the terrain, all while aiming with you head which usually means looking in a different direction then what you're going in, including looking almost behind you. Turning your head from side to side while doing all the motions with the ship can trigger some uneasiness. It never got to the point where it became a nuisance yet be warned. (The orignal modes have no such problems since you're stationary and only looking at different sides of the planet)

Overall solid conversion of the original game with a bit of an underwhelming 3D arena addition. 7/10
