Dual screen wasn't too impressive for the Wii U except for Mario Maker which is important to note considering how useful dual screen was for that game. Nintendo will most likely make have a Switch sequel/port of Mario Maker too so it'll be interesting how that would work.

Dual screen was fuckin expressive and helpful for Xenoblade X, Mario Maker, Splatoon, Fatal Frame V, Star Fox Zero, Wonderful 101, Shin Megami Tensei #FE, Paper Mario Color Splash. It would helpful for Zelda BotW too, but Nintendo dropped the second screen to outshine Wii U version and show Switch in a good light.
